Send SPL to the March for Life

January 15, 2025/in Administrative, Uncategorized /by Monica Snyder

In a week I’m heading to Washington DC for the March for Life (MFL) and related conferences and events.

Coalition building is a fundamental part of SPL’s mission. To that end, in 2024 we completed many public-facing collaborative projects and even more behind-closed-door brainstorming and coordination work (details).

MFL week in DC is a uniquely opportune moment to continue these efforts. Every year thousands of pro-lifers gather at the capitol for both the March itself and countless events in the days before and after. I’m already expecting to:

  • work alongside Leadership Institute the entire day at the Storytelling Symposium (1/22, 9a-5p, register here)
  • speak at the Law of Life Summit (1/23, 1-4p, register here)
  • co-host the MFL Alt Pro-Lifers Meetup (1/24, 11:30a, all are welcome), and
  • meet with reps of multiple other pro-life orgs at the National Pro-Life Summit (1/25).

It’s because of your support we’re able to build these bridges. Will you join us in unifying the pro-life movement by helping get me to the MFL? Travel (flights, hotel, ground transportation) and admission to pro-life events are estimated to total less than $1,700. If you’re able to help with these kinds of expenses, please donate here:

Also we have an SPL volunteer who has graciously offered to table for us at the 1/23/25 Geaux Forth rally. We’ll be equipping her with SPL brochures, postcards, stickers, flyers, and candy (to scatter around the table to encourage people to come chat). Tabling materials have totaled $422.19. If you’d like to help with this expense, here is the link:

Thank you for being in our corner,

Monica

If you appreciate our work and would like to help, one of the most effective ways to do so is to become a monthly donor. You can also give a one time donation here or volunteer with us here.

It’s crucial that we demonstrate that anyone can–and everyone should–oppose abortion. Thanks to you, we are working to change minds, transform our culture, and protect our prenatal children. Every donation supports our ability to provide nonsectarian, nonpartisan arguments against abortion. Read more details here. Please donate today.
