Panel on disability rights at the 2019 Rehumanize Conference

Rehumanize Seeks Proposals for Upcoming Conference

May 6, 2022/0 Comments/in Uncategorized /by Kelsey Hazzard

Our good friends at Rehumanize International are soliciting proposals for their annual conference, which will be held virtually on October 15.

Rehumanize is a consistent life ethic organization. In addition to anti-abortion work, they also organize against war, racism, ableism, the death penalty, assisted suicide, and other social problems. The Rehumanize conference is an opportunity for activists in many arenas to gather and learn from one another.

Although the consistent life ethic is popular among Catholics, Rehumanize is secular, and its executive director happens to be an atheist. Secular Pro-Life leaders have presented at the Rehumanize conference many times. Our past topics have included “Deconstructing Three Pro-Choice Myths,” “How to Lose a Pro-Life Secularist in Ten Days,” and a secular workshop on abortion healing.

Rehumanize is looking for:

  • Speakers with unique viewpoints, including those from different kinds of organizations, geographies, and professional statuses.
  • Speakers from different: genders, races and ethnicities, ages, abilities, religions, political affiliations, and other communities.
  • Speakers who present innovative and imaginative solutions to complex problems.
  • Speakers willing to dialogue with those who differ from them in significant ways.

Check out the request for proposals, and if you have an idea for a presentation, submit your application by July 31.

As the national conversation on abortion intensifies, it’s more important than ever that we demonstrate that anyone can–and everyone should–oppose abortion. Thanks to you, we are working to change minds, transform our culture, and protect our prenatal children. Every donation supports our ability to provide nonsectarian, nonpartisan arguments against abortion. Please donate today.
