Announcing the Storytelling Symposium: our new, free, fully online training
Hi All –
Abortion advocates use storytelling to great effect. We want our side to get better at it.
In late 2024, Secular Pro-Life partnered with the Leadership Institute and Abortion Survivors Network to build the Storytelling Symposium, a multi-module training on how pro-lifers can tell their stories with impact. It ran live in spring 2025, and we covered everything from finding your story to telling it for fundraising, media, and legislative testimony.
At that time, the training was only available for those who could attend live. SPL staff and volunteers have worked pretty hard to convert the content into a self-paced, online course, so you can take it whenever it works for you.

The pro-choice side has significant resources – both in funding and in capture of cultural institutions (media, academia, major medical organizations). But the pro-life side has numbers. Tens of millions of Americans oppose abortion. And every single one of us has the power to speak. Learn to do it well.
And then share the training with your pro-life friends, and tell them to speak up too.
