Why Do People Give to SPL?

We asked our supporters what inspires them to give to Secular Pro-Life and here are some themes that they told us.
We Do the Fact-Checking
Many of our supporters express appreciation for our research. When you are armed with the facts, conversations around abortion are just a tad bit easier. Our Abortion Debate Index covers just about every common pro-choice argument. Meanwhile, we have deep dives on later abortion and embryonic hearts while our research team meticulously dissects misleading media stories.
We Build Interfaith Coalitions
This may come as a surprise to some people, but many of our supporters do practice a religion of some sort. They may follow us because they want to learn how to communicate opposition to abortion in a way that resonates with a secular audience.
We Make Space for Non-Traditional Pro-Lifers
Our supporters know that in order to make abortion unthinkable, it’s going to take all of us. We want people to know that it doesn’t matter who you are, if you are a human then you should care about abortion. I got involved in pro-life work because groups like SPL let me know that I was welcomed in the pro-life movement.
Monthly supporters get invited to behind-the-scenes work. As a monthly donor, you are welcome to share your ideas and feedback with us during core quarterly calls. You’ll also have exclusive space to talk with other SPL monthly donors and staff.
