Do you have a March for Life sign?

January 17, 2025/in Administrative, SPL Emails, Uncategorized /by Monica Snyder

If you’re going to the DC March For Life, the San Francisco Walk for Life, or similar events coming up, you should have a sign. (tweet this)

Step 1: Get a sign

You can order some from us here, but you can also just buy $5 worth of posterboard and markers and let your inner artist go. If you’re really into it, make extra signs, bring them with you, and give them away to people who just aren’t as organized and cool as you are.

[Free e-book: 100 pro-life sign ideas]

Here are some sign ideas for inspiration.

Step 2: Get pictures of the sign

Make something creative or sarcastic or poignant, and then go to event and get pictures of the sign.

The whole point of these signs is to have as many people as possible see and consider them. That means social media, folks. Yes, many people in person may see them. Many, many more are online and reachable.

In fact, even if you don’t attend any pro-life marches, make a sign anyway. Take pictures with it in your backyard. Follow tips from us in this tutorial about how to get good pictures (includes options with and without your face visible).

Step 3: Get those pictures on social media

You can:

  1. Post the pictures to your own social media
  2. Send them to the pro-life groups that organized the event
  3. Send them to any pro-life group you like (*ahem*) who may be able to use the content
  4. Create accounts with royalty-free websites (e.g. Unsplash or Pexels) and upload the pictures there with hashtags to help others find them

Or, if you’re not up for these projects, donate to us to support us going out in the DC snow to represent.

Thanks to everyone taking a stand (and everyone taking pictures of people taking a stand). Glad to have you with us.

If you appreciate our work and would like to help, one of the most effective ways to do so is to become a monthly donor. You can also give a one time donation here or volunteer with us here.

It’s crucial that we demonstrate that anyone can–and everyone should–oppose abortion. Thanks to you, we are working to change minds, transform our culture, and protect our prenatal children. Every donation supports our ability to provide nonsectarian, nonpartisan arguments against abortion. Read more details here. Please donate today.
