Do you know all the ways you can support SPL?

May 18, 2026/in SPL Emails, Uncategorized /by Herb Geraghty

At Secular Pro-Life, we are working every day to amplify nontraditional pro-life voices, build interfaith coalitions, and advance the strongest arguments for the protection of the unborn. None of this would be possible without the generosity of people like you.

Today I want to share the many ways you can partner with us in sustaining and growing this mission. Keep reading to learn about some of the most impactful for us and tax-efficient ways for you to help grow Secular Pro-Life’s impact, including:

  • Employer Matching
  • Stock Donations
  • DAFs
  • QCDs
  • & lots of ways you can help support our work during estate planning and more.

Financial Contributions

Secular Pro-Life is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt non-profit corporation. Donations are tax-deductible. Our EIN is 27-2095596.

The best way to give a one-time donation to us is through Bloomerang here.

We also currently accept donations via PayPal and Venmo. Or you can donate by check to:

Secular Pro-Life
3770 Recreation Ln
Naples, Florida, 34116

Additionally, if your employer has an employer match program, consider selecting Secular Pro-Life as your nonprofit of choice. We are currently registered with Benevity Causes and Constellation Matching Gifts Program. Ask your HR department if your employer will match your gift – many do! If you’d like us to register with another matching program, please contact us.

Monthly Donors

We are especially grateful to our monthly recurring donors. Monthly donors provide us not only funding but also predictability and stability, allowing staff to spend less time fundraising and more time creating the content and resources our supporters rely on.

Join our monthly donor team here:

Donate Monthly

Bonus: monthly donors at every level get access to exclusive quarterly video calls with Secular Pro-Life staff. These Core Conversations calls offer a behind-the-scenes look at upcoming projects, provide an opportunity to ask any questions you may have about our work, and invite you to share feedback on how we can make SPL’s work even more valuable to you. Especially for those of us who may feel isolated by a largely pro-choice culture or sometimes by parts of the pro-life movement, these calls are an opportunity to connect with Secular Pro-Life supporters and our team, building community together.

Equity (Stock) Donors

We also accept donations of equities (stocks). Donating equities to nonprofit corporations is an effective way to minimize your tax burden by not only getting a tax deduction but also avoiding capital gains taxes. Instead of paying taxes to the IRS, donate that money to us!

You can donate equities to Secular Pro-Life through our Charles Schwab account directly. Contact us for details about this process.

You can also donate equities through our profile at DonateStock.com.

Donor-Advised Funds (DAFs)

A DAF is a charitable giving account that allows donors to make a tax-deductible contribution, grow the funds tax-free, and recommend grants to charities over time. Some of the most common DAFs are Fidelity Charitable, Schwab Charitable, and Vanguard Charitable.

If you make a gift through a DAF, please contact us and allow us to acknowledge your generosity.

Qualified Charitable Distributions (QCDs) from Your IRA

If you are 70½ or older, you can make a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) by giving directly from your IRA to Secular Pro-Life. Each year, you may transfer up to $100,000 tax-free, and this gift can also count toward your Required Minimum Distribution.

Because QCDs are excluded from your taxable income, they are a simple and highly effective way to support our mission while reducing your tax burden. To make a QCD, contact your IRA provider and request a direct transfer to Secular Pro-Life (EIN: 27-209559). Learn more here.

If you make a QCD, please let us know so we can acknowledge your generosity.

Planned Giving

When you support Secular Pro-Life through planned giving, you create a legacy that will continue long after your lifetime. Planned gifts allow you to make a powerful and long-lasting impact on the future of our movement.

Ways to give:

  • In Your Will: A few words in your will or living trust can ensure that our mission carries forward.
  • Retirement Plans: Naming Secular Pro-Life as a beneficiary of your IRA or 401(k) is one of the easiest and most tax-efficient ways to give.
  • Life Insurance: You can designate us as a beneficiary of a new or existing policy, turning modest premiums into a meaningful legacy.
  • Trusts & Annuities: These options allow you to support SPL while still providing a steady income for yourself or your loved ones.

If you’re considering a planned gift, we encourage you to talk with your attorney or financial advisor. To discuss how your legacy could strengthen Secular Pro-Life, please contact us.

Other Contributions

We also gladly accept:

  • Donated auction items (goods or services) for our fundraising auctions (fill out this form)
  • Gifted travel miles on major airlines
  • Gift cards for travel (such as gas stations, Uber, Southwest Airlines, Hyatt, or any other ride sharing, airlines, or hotels you prefer)
  • Gift cards for meals (restaurants, delivery services) to be used while traveling

Secular Pro-Life fills a gap in the movement that no one else does. Your support ensures that we can keep doing this important work.

Thanks for reading!
