Scatterbrained Sunday: Help with research
An easy, free way to help the pro-life movement is to participate in research! I’d like to bring two projects to your attention.
First, a Cornell student is working on a research paper regarding support for incrementalism in the pro-life movement. He is looking for blog comment threads, discussion fora, recorded conversations, etc. on this topic. Please share your links and other sources in the comments section, or email them to info@secularprolife.org.
Second, SecularProLife.org is continuing to conduct surveys for the Secular Sidewalk project, studying how religion affects the interactions among sidewalk counselors and women going into the abortion facility. We’ve gotten some enlightening responses so far, but additional participation will help make our findings more robust. If you are a sidewalk counselor, please click here to take the survey. Your answers are anonymous.
We also have a survey for women who have scheduled an abortion. This survey applies to anyone who has gone to an abortion facility with the intent of getting an abortion– whether or not they ultimately went through with it. For this survey, it does not matter if you are currently pro-life or pro-choice. As with the other survey, it’s totally confidential. Click here to take the survey.
Thanks, and have a great day!
