We’re training pro-lifers to reach across the aisle – can you help?

June 18, 2025/in Administrative, SPL Emails, Uncategorized /by Herb Geraghty

Monica and I are currently gearing up for Secular Pro-Life’s first-ever day-long dialogue training that we’re holding in Washington, DC on June 26th.

The content for the training is based on Monica’s hit “Building Bridges” presentation. This concept was originally requested by a network of Pregnancy Resource Centers as a presentation for their staff to help them better reach people who don’t already come from a pro-life or Christian background. We have now expanded the training into a day-long intensive, which is meant to assist pro-life people of all types on how to talk about abortion in various contexts.

We are so excited to be able to do this training and we would love your help.

We’re estimating that the cost of putting on this event will total just under $2,000. That includes:

  • Travel: $850
  • Lodging: $866.16
  • Meals: $150
  • Printed materials: $75

We are also offering scholarships to those who need them because we don’t want cost to be a barrier to training new advocates. Your support will help cover our expenses and offset the cost for attendees who wouldn’t be able to come otherwise.

If you believe in what we’re building, please consider making a one-time gift to help launch this new chapter of in-person outreach.

Finally, it’s not too late to register for this event if you are in the Washington DC area — or are planning to be for the Dobbs anniversary week. You can click here for full details or below to register. I’d love to see you there!

It’s crucial that we demonstrate that anyone can–and everyone should–oppose abortion. Thanks to you, we are working to change minds, transform our culture, and protect our prenatal children. Every donation supports our ability to provide nonsectarian, nonpartisan arguments against abortion. Read more details here. Please donate today.
