Rehumanize Conference Schedule Announced
Our friends at Rehumanize International organize consistently amazing conferences. Rehumanize is a Consistent Life Ethic (CLE) group, which means their work encompasses a wide range of social ills. That includes abortion, along with threats to older humans like the death penalty and sex trafficking. Their conferences present a wonderful opportunity for activists in different spheres to come together and learn from one another. Secular Pro-Life has proudly sponsored every conference since its inception.
For the first time since COVID, Rehumanize is holding its annual conference in person! The 2024 conference will take place in Atlanta, GA from Friday, October 25 to Sunday, October 27. It will be a hybrid setup, so virtual attendance remains an option for those who can’t make it to Atlanta.
The schedule just dropped, and I’m thrilled to announce that I will be part of the Friday night panel Choosing Life for Our Children: What Is Needed for an Authentically Pro-Life Culture. The panel is described as “a conversation about pregnancy and parenting support that features a first-mom whose son was adopted, a teen mom, and a foster mom” (I’m the last one). You’ll also get to see me at the Create | Encounter release party on Saturday night, where I will perform my original song Alive Without Permission. And during the day, you’ll find me at the Secular Pro-Life exhibit booth. Don’t be a stranger!
Other presentations likely of interest to SPL supporters include:
- Don’t Vote for Violence: Approaching Electoral Politics with a Whole-Life Ethic, featuring State Representative Treneé McGee (D-CT), former state house candidate Melba Aguilar (R-NM), Bill Fleming (American Solidarity Party of GA), and Michael Jezewak of Rehumanize International
- Caroline Antoun sharing her story of losing parental rights to her unborn embryos because they are considered property and not people
- Aimee Murphy sharing her experience with embryo adoption
- The Consistent Life Ethic: Radical Inclusivity in the Effort for Human Rights
- Artificial Intelligence, Real Consequences: Unmasking AI’s Potential to Dehumanize
- Resisting Affective Polarization: Rehumanizing Our Communities
Tickets are available starting at just $25. We look forward to seeing you there!
