[POSTPONED] Kelsey Hazzard speaking in Miami this Thursday
UPDATE: This event has been postponed due to inclement weather. We are looking at new dates in January.
Original article:
Kelsey Hazzard (pictured), the founder and president of Secular Pro-Life, will speak on a panel this Thursday. The topic is “Evolution of the U.S. Supreme Court from Roe v. Wade to Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization.” The event will also feature local law professors and a former Florida Supreme Court Justice.
Date: Thursday, November 10
Time: 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.
Location: Gus Machado College of Business Auditorium, St. Thomas University, 16401 NW 37th Avenue, Miami, FL 33054
The event is co-sponsored by the Black Law Students Association, the Public Interest Law Society, and the Miami-Dade chapter of the Florida Association of Women Lawyers. (Hazzard is also a lawyer and belongs to another chapter of FAWL.) The event is free and open to the public, but you do need to register. If you are a Florida attorney, CLE credit is available.
We are keeping an eye on Tropical Storm Nicole. So far, so good. Hope to see you there!
