Re: legislators say they oppose the legislation
Sigh, this is discouraging when pro-lifers do this. The local pro-life group – or I should say the Christians for Life group has a hard time doing things because some in the group won't even meet at a Catholic church. Those same churches refused to do 40 Days for Life because it was "too Catholic". Then it isn't about saving babies and helping women, it becomes about politics. I actually left the group because of the in-fighting.
Any step towards abortion becoming outlawed is a good step.
The Ranter – that's how I feel. The "it's not pro-life enough" argument is moot. It's a step in the right direction and that should be lauded, not fought.
