Well, this ruined my Memorial Day

May 31, 2010/3 Comments/in Uncategorized /by Kelsey Hazzard

In my ongoing effort to reach across the aisle, I’ve acquired some radically pro-abortion facebook friends. The following image speaks for itself.
Scott Roeder’s murder of Tiller was immoral, horrific, and every other negative adjective you can think of. It also probably set the pro-life movement back years; had Roeder ever bothered to talk to anyone in the mainstream pro-life movement, he would have realized that we were close to getting Tiller’s medical license revoked through peaceful, legal means.

But this shouldn’t stop us from acknowledging the truth: Tiller was no hero. Not only was he an abortionist, but his medical negligence killed a young woman who had Down Syndrome. In 1989, he deliberately hit a peaceful pro-life demonstrator with his car (for which he was charged with felony assault). Comparing George Tiller to the real heroes who have defended our country is disgusting.

LOL. I guess you don't care, but I figure it's better to black out names that don't need to be blacked out than the other way around.

You know, I don't think I've ever read a clearer indictment of the pro-life movement as profoundly misogynist.

You haven't got a single shred of independent evidence against Doctor Tiller: all the articles you site are on pro-life sites, none on independent news sites.

Your complaint against Doctor Tiller is that he saved women's lives by performing abortions. You think it would have been a good thing if the pro-life movement had eventually succeeded in depriving him of his medical licence, because then more women in need of his help would have died.

When you strip away the faux-religious justifications for attacking the right to choose abortion, this is all that's left: naked hatred of women, and of men who help and trust women.

Doctor Tiller was a hero. You are pondscum.
