Abortion and Authentic Feminism

February 7, 2017 /0 Comments/in Uncategorized /by Kelsey Hazzard

[Today’s guest post is by Beth Kulikov.] Women have been oppressed throughout history, in all parts of the globe. Our oppressors have been men, which is in no way meant to express an anti-man sentiment. Human nature is flawed and the human condition plagues us all. If women had been the ones with the stronger […]

Today in pro-life history

February 3, 2017 /0 Comments/in Uncategorized /by Kelsey Hazzard

Today marks the 35th anniversary of a gruesome discovery. On February 3, 1982, the Martin Container Company repossessed a storage container for non-payment. Upon opening the container, workers discovered the remains of 16,433 abortion victims. Abortion advocates reacted by going to court to block pro-lifers from offering memorial services, lest the babies be “humanized.” So […]

Protest Planned Parenthood on February 11

February 1, 2017 /0 Comments/in Uncategorized /by Kelsey Hazzard

The first #ProtestPP demonstrations took place at Planned Parenthood facilities across the U.S. in August of 2015, in direct response to the Center for Medical Progress videos. There was a second set of rallies last October, marking Planned Parenthood’s centennial. And now that Congress is on the verge of finally defunding the unethical abortion giant […]

A Christian’s plea for secular reasoning on abortion

January 31, 2017 /0 Comments/in Uncategorized /by Kelsey Hazzard

[Today’s guest post is by Sean Cahill. She says: “Because it changes the way my voice is heard when it comes to life issues, I feel compelled to state that I’m a woman, despite what my name suggests.”] In law school, as part of a Gender and Women’s Studies class, I had to attend a […]

March for Life recap

January 30, 2017 /0 Comments/in Speeches, Discussions, Presentations, Uncategorized /by Kelsey Hazzard

Kelsey here. I’m finally home and have a moment to digest everything that has happened. This week was truly a whirlwind. That’s a good thing! Some time ago, I wrote: “The anniversary of Roe v. Wade is a time to remember the lives lost, celebrate the lives saved, and renew our commitment to restoring the […]

A crazy week in Washington, D.C.

January 25, 2017 /0 Comments/in Uncategorized /by Kelsey Hazzard

Your president, Kelsey Hazzard, here. I’m in Washington, D.C. and staying with my friend Lauren Handy, sidewalk counselor extraordinaire. She’s a Christian, but takes a totally secular approach to sidewalk counseling. As she describes it, she’s doing crisis intervention—if you were rescuing people from a burning building, you wouldn’t pause to proselytize, so why on […]

2017 Walk for Life recap

January 23, 2017 /0 Comments/in Uncategorized /by Kelsey Hazzard

Your president, Kelsey Hazzard, here. On Saturday, Secular Pro-Life participated in the Walk for Life – West Coast for the seventh consecutive year. But for me, it was the first year. Typically, I am busy at the March for Life in D.C., and other SPL leaders take care of things in San Francisco. But this […]

Pro-Life in the Age of President Trump

January 17, 2017 /0 Comments/in Uncategorized /by Kelsey Hazzard

[Today’s guest post by Greg Elchert is part of our paid blogging program.] I have a confession to make – I wasn’t happy when I woke on November 9th to find that Donald J. Trump had won the election. Of course, there was always a lot about him to dislike. His mind-boggling ignorance of politics […]

As of this writing, it has garnered over 1.5 million views and is #38 on trending. Take a moment to watch it now, and then we’ll delve into its inaccuracies.
