LIVESTREAM: Behind the Doors of the Washington Surgi-Clinic

The “all trimester” Washington Surgi-Clinic has come up recently because, at least at the moment, they seem to have stopped performing late-term abortions.
SPL has particular history with activism related to the Surgi clinic. When I was 28 weeks pregnant with my daughter Ruby, I made an appointment for an abortion at Surgi and filmed undercover. Separately, SPL Chief Communications Officer Herb Geraghty was convicted and served time under the FACE Act for nonviolent civil disobedience at the Surgi clinic.
Herb and I will be talking about our experiences with Surgi, and more generally about the popular myths and horrible realities of later abortion in the United States.
