Three thank you notes to you

As the year came to a close I wrote quite a lot detailing the awesome work SPL did in 2024, and asking you to help us make the most of a generous matching grant. And your responses have been great. Thank you for a bunch of reasons:

Thanks for your donations.

Our year-end campaign resulted in over 140 donations which totaled $11,330, bringing us to 75% of the total matching grant. Amazing work everyone. Because we were so close, one of SPL’s supporeters reached out and offered to donate the difference ($3,670), getting us to the full $15,000 matching grant!

Thanks so much to the larger donors who gave substantially (some previously unknown to us, stepping up out of nowhere!) That was wildly encouraging.

At the same time, over 90% of the year-end donations ranged from $200 to as modest as $5. I’m also moved by these smaller donations.

For much of my young adulthood I had an exceedingly tight budget, and I remember many causes I wanted to support and couldn’t. I know some of you adore SPL, and $15 is what you can manage right now. I see you.

I’m honored SPL has the support of people across economic statuses. The pro-life movement belongs to all of us.

Thanks for listening to me brag.

I tell my kids one way to show people you care about them is to actively listen when they want to share with you whatever makes them (1) happy, (2) excited, or (3) proud.

Well SPL makes me happy, excited, and proud. I had a great time telling you all about our debunking content, our outreach to the ‘alt” pro-lifers, and our coalition building. Sharing these wins with you is delightful.
