Part of SPL’s mission is to broaden the pro-life movement. We do not care if you’re Christian or atheist, Republican or Democrat, straight or queer—whatever. It doesn’t matter. Do you know why?

Because abortion kills humans. It’s a human rights violation. If you’re a human, you should be against it.

Being a leftist I mainly socialized in pro-choice circles, and believed that abortion should be legal and accessible. I came across a Secular Pro-Life post on Instagram, and was immediately intrigued. I looked at the website, including many people’s personal testimonies, and it challenged me to think about abortion and the value of unborn life in new ways. After following Secular Pro-Life for some time, and hearing all the well-reasoned arguments, I realized my mind had changed from pro-choice to pro-life.
