Planned Parenthood boycott list now available for free
For years, Life Decisions International (LDI) has maintained a list of businesses and organizations that fund Planned Parenthood. The boycott list is updated twice a year, as LDI works with those who want off the list to confirm the cessation of financial support for abortion.
The boycott has achieved impressive results: “To date, at least 323 corporations have agreed to stop funding Planned Parenthood’s deadly empire, which has kept an estimated $42.5 million out of its coffers.” Not bad!
Historically, LDI has offered the boycott list to pro-lifers for a small fee, in order to cover its research expenses. But as interest in defunding Planned Parenthood has increased, and particularly since the release of the Center for Medical Progress videos last summer, boycott lists have swirled around the internet—and according to LDI, some of these lists are out-of-date or otherwise inaccurate.
So in order to make sure that boycotters have access to an accurate listing, LDI has made the decision to offer it for free.
To obtain the list, you must agree to LDI’s terms of use, which include various provisions meant to avoid the problems LDI has observed (i.e., no deleting or adding companies based on rumors). Then you email them at boycott-targets@fightpp.org to get your list. The list includes contact information for the companies so that you can (politely!) explain why you will no longer be doing business with them.
If you find the list helpful, please consider a donation to LDI. Their decision to make the list free has been a big hit to the budget.
