SPL President to Speak at NRLC Convention
We are excited to announce that Kelsey Hazzard (pictured), the founder and board president of Secular Pro-Life, will speak at the National Right to Life Convention in Pittsburgh. The convention will take place on June 23 and 24, 2023. Kelsey’s talk will be on the second day (time TBD).
Fittingly, June 24 is the first anniversary of Dobbs v. Jackson. It will be a day to celebrate the lives that have been saved and strategize for the substantial progress that still needs to be done. Dobbs was the battle; we are here for the war.
Kelsey’s presentation will focus on making the case against abortion for a secular audience and improving non-Christian participation in the pro-life movement. Protecting children in the womb from violence requires a dedicated, unified effort from people of every faith and none.
Attendees will get to attend dozens of workshops and hear from keynote speakers including Benjamin Watson and Carol Tobias. Childcare is available, as are discounted tickets for students and seniors. Register here.
We hope to see you there! But if you can’t make it in person, don’t fret. Audio recordings will be available afterwards for a nominal donation.
