Opportunity to Support Pregnant and Parenting Students
It’s hard to believe how time flies. I first got involved in the pro-life movement as a college student about fifteen years ago. Now I am a mentor to pro-life college students through the Students for Life of America fellowship program! Investing in the next generation of advocates is an incredible honor.
This year my mentee is Galaxy Acton, a senior at the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA). Galaxy is the president of the UTSA pro-life student organization, a future lawyer, and an all-around amazing young lady.
Texas is a legal haven for unplanned babies. Galaxy and I firmly believe that the mothers of those babies deserve community support to complete their educations. That is why Galaxy is working on a service project to raise $10,000 for UTSA’s pregnant and parenting student scholarship fund. She is already $4,000 into her $10,000 goal, which is a fantastic start. But she needs your help to raise the full amount before she graduates next month.
