(A)bortion proponents, not to mention the media, have seized
on our pervasive Christian religiosity with delight. It hands them, gratis, innumerable
chances to assert: “They’re trying to ram their religion down your throats!”
Why shouldn’t the undecided believe them, when that is exactly how it appears?
We ourselves have made this possible, and we have only ourselves to blame. ~Tom SenaKelsey Hazzard founded SecularProLife.org in 2009, after growing frustrated with the situation that the late Tom Sena described. As a student at a liberal university, she found it was difficult to find religiously neutral literature for use by the campus pro-life group. So she decided to write some. From there, the idea blossomed.
Of course, she couldn't do it alone. We are very grateful for the many people who have given their time, money, and encouragement.
